Keswick
The town of Keswick is hugely popular with visitors to the Lake District and surrounding areas. The town itself has a host of shop, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is also direct access to the shores of Derwent Water just a short distance from the town centre, where boat hire is available and the magnificent scenery can be viewed. Walks accessible from Keswick range from some of the most challenging, such as Blencathra, or some of the “easier” walks such as Catbells.
You will find something for everyone in Keswick and will no doubt return many times.
